Your kitchen should not look like everyone else's.

Your countertop should feel like it was created for your home, not selected because it was the closest match on a warehouse rack.

Your countertop no longer fits the room

It may be dated, damaged, or simply disconnected from everything around it. The color fights the cabinets. The pattern competes with the flooring. The surface no longer reflects how you want your kitchen to look or feel.

Conventional choices still feel like settling

Most countertop shopping means comparing prefabricated patterns and choosing someone else's design. You are left hoping the slab that looked good in a showroom will work with the colors, lighting, and character of your home.

    Your kitchen deserves something personal

A defining feature of your home should reflect the people who live there. FlowStone gives you the freedom to create a surface around your room, your style, and the way you use your kitchen.

Otherwise, you can spend thousands on a countertop you merely tolerate, continue living with a kitchen that feels unfinished, or replace materials that could have been transformed.

Bring Us the Room. We'll Help Create the Surface.

A handcrafted surface should feel personal, not unpredictable. FlowStone guides you through each decision and confirms the design before installation begins.

    • Guided color, movement, and veining selection
    • Physical samples reviewed and approved in your room
    • Careful evaluation and documented substrate preparation
    • Clear expectations and a fixed project proposal
    • The right installation method for your space

Depending on the project, your surface may be poured and finished in your home or handcrafted off-site and installed in about half a day. We will explain the recommended approach before you approve the project.

FlowStone is owner-led by Toby Hanson, who brings five years of relevant surface and remodeling experience to every design consultation, preparation plan, and installation.

The Right Transformation Starts With the Right Foundation

Not every countertop should be resurfaced. Before recommending a solution, FlowStone evaluates the substrate, structural stability, moisture damage, seams, edge profiles, sink configuration, and backsplash transitions.

    Renew Your Existing Countertops

Transform suitable, structurally sound countertops with a custom-poured resin surface. When the existing substrate is in good condition, resurfacing can create an entirely new look with less demolition, dust, disposal, and downtime.

    Create New Custom Countertops

When the existing countertops are damaged, the layout is changing, or the project involves new construction, we can fabricate or prepare new substrates for your custom surface. Depending on the project, the surface may be poured on-site or handcrafted off-site and installed in your home.

Change the Look Without Automatically Tearing Everything Out

If your current layout works and the underlying countertops are structurally suitable, FlowStone may be able to transform the room without the disruption of conventional countertop replacement.

    Preserve What Still Works

A sound substrate does not always need to be removed simply because the visible surface is dated, damaged, or no longer fits the room.

    Reduce Unnecessary Disruption

Suitable resurfacing projects can mean less demolition, dust, disposal, and downtime than removing and replacing the countertops.

Put More of Your Budget Into the Transformation

Invest in the color, movement, finish, and overall design instead of spending part of the budget removing materials that may still provide a dependable foundation.

Every countertop is inspected before resurfacing is recommended. If replacement is the safer or more appropriate option, we will tell you.

    Find Your Starting Point

You do not need to design a countertop from a blank page. Begin with a FlowStone collection, then customize the colors, movement, contrast, and finish for your room.

Design the Surface in the Room Where It Will Live

Color and movement can look completely different under showroom lights than they do beside your cabinets, flooring, and other finishes. That is why FlowStone brings the design process into your home.

    What We'll Explore Together

    • The condition and suitability of your existing countertops
    • Your preferred colors, movement, veining, and overall style
    • Coordination with your cabinets, flooring, backsplash, paint, lighting, and hardware
    • Up to three recommended design directions when appropriate
    • The project scope, installation approach, timing, and pricing
    • The physical sample, revision, and final approval process

Your Design, Continued Beyond the Countertop

When you move forward with a qualifying countertop project, FlowStone will create an 18-inch Lazy Susan inspired by your approved surface design.

It becomes a functional companion piece made specifically for your kitchen and a lasting example of the design we created together.

A Surface You See Every Day Deserves a Deliberate Process

Countertops shape how the entire kitchen looks, feels, and functions. Evaluating the existing surface, coordinating the design, and preparing the substrate correctly protects both the finished appearance and the long-term performance.

An Outdated Surface Keeps the Room From Feeling Complete

When the countertop clashes with the rest of the kitchen, it can make updated cabinets, flooring, and finishes feel disconnected. Delaying the project means continuing to live with a room that never quite comes together.

The Finished Surface Is Only as Dependable as Its Foundation

A beautiful design cannot overcome moisture damage, movement, weak seams, poor adhesion, or an unsuitable substrate. FlowStone identifies and addresses these conditions before resurfacing begins or recommends replacement when necessary.

The Design Must Belong in the Entire Room

A sample can look beautiful on its own and still feel wrong beside your cabinets, flooring, backsplash, hardware, and lighting. We coordinate the complete palette in your home before you approve the final design.

Installation Shortcuts Usually Cost More Later

Inadequate preparation, poor edge work, uneven finishing, or an unplanned design can lead to repairs or complete replacement. A controlled process protects your investment and helps prevent you from paying twice for the same project.

    Questions About FlowStone Countertops

Straightforward answers about pricing, design, installation, durability, care, and whether your existing countertops are suitable for resurfacing.

Custom-poured resin countertops are surfaces FlowStone designs and pours by hand, layering color, veining, and a protective finish to create a one-of-a-kind top. Unlike a slab pulled from a warehouse rack, the color and movement are developed around your room and approved on a physical sample before installation.See the processBrowse surface designs
